Allison DeGrenier, DVM

Veterinarian

Like most kids, Dr. Allison DeGrenier dreamed of becoming a veterinarian from a young age. She attended undergrad in Ohio at The University of Findlay, completing a combined Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Animal Science.  She gained valuable experience at their campus-owned farm working with licensed veterinarians to care for small ruminants, cattle, pigs, horses and camelids. In 2018 she was accepted into Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, completing her degree in May 2022.

Dr. Allison has a special interest in the human-animal bond and animal behavior. Throughout her education she has pursued the opportunity to work closely with the community, providing care through low-income clinics and shelters, and participating in a local feral cat spay/neuter program. Dr. Allison is an Elite Fear Free certified professional dedicated to helping provide pets with the best experience possible by working with pet parents to determine how each individual animal’s experience can be improved.

Dr. Allison grew up in Northern Berkshire County and returned to the area after receiving her degree. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and close friends, sewing, baking, and adventuring around town. She shares her home with 2 rowdy Labradors, Wrigley and Fletcher, and 2 wonderful rescue cats, Marley and Reese.
